Gypsy Horses have been called magical, alluring and captivating ... and they are. They are mysterious creatures, buried under tons of silky hair that flows in the wind as a feather in a breeze. Manes flow long and freely and heavy tails extend the look. The 'feather' on their legs assist in the illusion that these horses move on clouds with the soft grace of angels.

Maximum feather is only achieved through meticulous breeding of superior quality individuals and is a highly prized trait, however, it is only one trait of a well bred animal. Ideally 14-15.2 hands tall, these horses have the basic conformation of a small draft horse but move with a grace more typical of a dressage horse.

Commonly these horses are black and white in coloration with a tobiano pattern or solid black. Either way, the overall package is one that is breathtaking.

Bred for literally centuries in England, the best breeders have taken generations to achieve the heavy silky feathering, bold color patterns, muscular shoulder and hind quarters combined with the natural balance that is so desired. Our horses are the best from those breeders admired by their peers for their skill in consistently producing top notch quality animals.

To watch a gypsy horse floating across the field is a vision of pure dreams, however, to ride or drive one is an experience that can only be truly enjoyed by doing. There are no words to describe the feel of their movement and the 'gentlemanly' or 'ladylike' behavior under saddle or harness.

Truly a cold blooded equine, these animals seem to hit the ground with manners and style. They enjoy the company of people and have personalities that are the most cooperative even under normally stressful situations. They are wonderful companions for children or those new to the equestrian world as this breed is as 'error proof' as anyone can claim in a horse.
